With heavy hearts, we announce the death of DDS Thomas M. Hiegel of Shelby Township, Michigan, who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Hiegel and Rosie Hiegel; his close friend Dr. Arnold Bansen; his wife Joyce; his children, Scott Hiegel (Julie) and Lisa Hiegel (Jason Muxlow); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jenna Dubay, Johnny and Natalie Hiegel; his siblings, Patricia Hoffman (John), Mike Hiegel (Chris) and Debbie Rogerson (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, Bob, Kathy Zimmerman, Tom and Sue Brancaleone; and his close friend Dr. John Kamar (Claudia). He was also cherished by friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed in Tom's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital a cause very dear to Dr. Tom's heart.
