He was predeceased by: his parents, Nunzio Castronovo and Stella Castronovo (Spina); his siblings, Virginia Zerilli, Mary Puricelli and Salvatore Castronova; his daughter Grace Marie; and his grandson Zachary Podkul.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Marie Militello; his brothers, Joseph and Anthony Castronova; his daughters, Maria Stella Castronova, Linda Daleo (Carlo) and Catherine Podkul Michael Castronova (Richard); and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Podkul and Angelo Castronova.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial bench will be honored in Frank's name at the Michigan Veteran's Home of Chesterfield Township.
