It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Johnston of Shelby Township, Michigan, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William Johnston and Leona Johnston; and his siblings, Maurice Johnston, Lenore Hernandaz and James Johnston.
He is survived by : his wife Diane; his children, Michael (Lisa), Connie, Steven and Lynnette (Ronald); his grandchildren, Sean Sellors (Myrlie), Haley Thick (Ryan), Madeline Johnston and Aiden Best; and his sisters, Cheryl Seidl (Bob) and Janice Rolando. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors, Inc. - Sterling Heights (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
