Guenter Weess Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Guenter Weess (Shelby Township, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Guenter left this world on June 26, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hermann Weess and Hedwig Weess; and his sibling Karl-Heinz Weess. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Hans Weess (Ursula), Michaela Dean, Doris Ward (James), Ronald Tuerk (Tracy) and Christine Martin (Stephen); his grandchildren, Christopher, Leah, Gillian, Alexander, Joshua (Elizabeth), Jacob, Joseph (Jocelynn), Mary (Joshua) and Emma; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella, Andi and Olivia; and his sibling's child Hans-Guenter Weess.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM.

Donations may be made in Guenter's memory to the Special Olympics of Michigan.
