It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Clarence Koss of Shelby Township, Michigan, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Koss and Theresa Koss (Dybowski). He is survived by: his fiancée Barbara Rice; his children, Steven Koss (Ann) and Deborah Dale (Brian); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Ethan Koss, Caleb and Liliana Dale; and his sisters, Sandra Grzych (Dennis) and Susan Evans (Joe). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (48115 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315).
Memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, in lieu of flowers.
