He was predeceased by : his parents, John Scarpace and Rose Scarpace; his son Jeffrey; and his sister Carole. He is survived by : his wife Jane; his children, James (Renee) and Jennifer Carlson (Brian); his granddaughters, Jenna, Sydney, Elena and Marisa; and his great grandchild Nevaeh.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
