He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lietke and Lottie Lietke (Cloutier); his son Mark (Karen); and his sisters, Rose Lyons and Nancy Monreal.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lietke (Hacala); his children, Gregory (Frances), Keith and Pamela Podgorski (Michael); his grandchildren, Frank (Heidi), John (Rochelle), Andrew (Megan), Candice, Tracie, Jacob, Lottie, Joseph, Angelica, Ashlee (Julian) and Michelle; his great grandchildren, Luke, Rose, Madison, Francesca, Vivienne, Ariana, Alexis, Cody, Carmen, Shelby and Kaden; and his sibling Beverly Cyr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
