Though John Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McAlpine and Martha McAlpine; and his brother Kenneth McAlpine. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Quincy McAlpine (Paige) and Leslie McAlpine Campbell (Jeffrey); his granddaughter Madison Lee Campbell; his nieces, Jenny, Susan and Karen; and his nephew Kenneth Jr..
