He is survived by: his parents, Manilal B. Patel and Dahiben M. Patel; his wife Hansabahen Patel; his children, Anjali Patel and Akash Patel; his siblings, Urmila Patel (Ratilal), Kanchan Patel (Ravindra), Prabba Patel (Satish) and Bhupendra Patel; his nieces and nephews, Dipak Patel (Marissa) and Sheila Patel; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cyrus, Amira, Ava and Dylan; and his parents-in-law, Jerambhai and Shardaben Patel.
