He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancel Downs and Novi Downs. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Brook Downs (Allyson Lincoln) and Matt Downs (Sarah Mann); and his sisters, Gloria McRae (late Art) and Judy Sullivan (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
