He was predeceased by: his wife Martha; his parents, Alexander and Goldie; and his sister Bernice. He is survived by: his children, Lisa DiBattista (Joe) and Michael Bashaw (Lisa); his grandchildren, Megan Suddon (Dan), Jessie Ivey (Tanner), Spencer and Sydney; and his great grandchildren, Camden and Jaxon.
