He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Frances. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Hoard; his sister Kathy Schur (Joseph); his sister-in-law Diane Dulzer; his nephews, Michael Hoard (Lauren) and Jeffrey Hoard (Kimberly); and his grandchildren, Oliver, Brody and Isabelle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). The lying in state will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Isidore Catholic Church (18201 23 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI 48042). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
