He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his son Darrin Agar; and his sister Ann Stanley. He is survived by: his daughter Deanna Wranosky (Gary); his grandchildren, Nick, Ava and Diana; his stepgrandchildren, Cole, Cody, Courtney and Carson; and his siblings, Stan Agar (late Ina) and Carol Sydlik (late Gary).
