Ruth Katherine Schoenek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Katherine Schoenek of Shelby Township, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Spang and Marie Spang; her spouse Henrik; her siblings, Lothar Spang (late Jean) and Rainer Spang; and her son-in-law Geoffrey Garabedian.
She is survived by: her children, Dagmar Jones (Kenn), Victor Schoenek (Michelle), Gabriela Barc (Timothy) and Andrea Garabedian (Anthony Bartley); and her sister Erika Fix (late Garry).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wasik Funeral Home (49150 Schoenherr Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48315). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
