She is survived by: her grandchildren, Oliver, Calvin, Evelyn, Isaac and Bradyn; her significant other Gerard Willaert; her children, Shannon (Ben Hopkins), Amy and Chisholm; her sisters, Meri Pohutsky and Jeanne; and her brother-in-law Doug Kutzura. She is also survived by four nieces, a nephew and seven great-nieces & nephews.

“I am so so sorry to hear of Sarah’s passing. She was an incredible help to me with Science Olympiad, the salmon program, and just general help in my classroom and at Roberts Elementary. The world lost a good one. Unfortunately, I will be out of town both Sunday and Monday so I will not be able to attend, regretfully. Hope the upcoming days get easier. Scott Burnham”
