He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ayers and Leona Ayers (Lindquist); his wife Catherine M. Pretty "Sis"; and his siblings, John Ayers and Betty Stover.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Aho (Thomas), Dustin Ayers (Sarah) and Dawn Thiele (Fred); and his grandchildren, Lindsey and Austin Trantham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
