She was predeceased by: her parents, John Current and Violet Current (Winters); her husband Bob; her son John; and her brothers, Carl, Don and Dave.
She is survived by: her children, Denise McCarty (Tom), Carol Babinec, Susan Selkirk-Merren (Jerry), Bob Erickson (Debbie), Chris Erickson and Jeanne Erickson; her siblings, Sharron Tanner (Dave) and Gary Current (Betty); and her close friend Laurel Minard. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home (267 N Michigan Ave, Shelby, MI 49455). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
