She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Decker and Irma Decker (Bennett); her husband Peter VanderVelde; her children, Tom Beyer and Karen Perrin; her grandson Frank Beyer; her sister Jackie Conroy; and her close friend Ken Larm.
She is survived by : her son Nick Beyer (Char) of Hesperia; her children-in-law, Debbie Beyer of Shelby and Paul Perrin of Norton Shores; and her siblings, Duane Decker of Kentucky, Robert Herin (Shirley) of Shelby and Arta Urick (John) of Walkerville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great grandson.
