It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Whitney O'Connell (Shelby, Michigan), who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lafeton J. Whitney and Gertrude Whitney (Leichsenring); her husband Donald R. O'Connell; her son Michael E. O'Connell; her granddaughter Jennifer R. Stevenson (O'Connell); her sister Jean Whitney; and her cousin Kendall Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey O'Connell (Melinda) and Timothy O'Connell; and her grandchildren, Joel O'Connell, Chris O'Connell, Matthew O'Connell and Dana Martinski (O'Connell). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family.
