It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Werner Markel (Shelby, Michigan), who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Yolanda; his children, Kimberly Kuczynski (Mark), Carissa and Adam Markel (Amber); and his grandchildren, Jadeyn, Makenna, Tucker and Victoria.

Funeral Friday 10:00am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (Shelby Township) 54880 VanDyke at 25 Mile Rd. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. ** Please be advised that we ask all entering the building wear a face covering and practice social distancing **.
