With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roger Bowen of Shelby, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roger left this world on September 27, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Lincoln Bowen and Helen Mae Turner (Smith); his wife Sharon; his son Brian; his wife Phyllis Schlee; and his brother Bruce.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Snider (Bruce), Laurie Newell (James), Nanette Bowen (Jon Snider) and Jennifer Coulier (George); and his siblings, Marsha Lemieux (Joe) and Les Bowen (Patricia). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grand children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (2380 W Jackson Rd, Hart, MI 49420). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (2990 W Woodrow Rd, Shelby, MI 49455).
