He was predeceased by : his former life partner Elaine; and his sister Gail Hovitch. He is survived by : his wife Julia; his siblings-in-law, Richard Hovitch, Judi Kulik (Ken), James Gawlowski (late Mary) and Tom Gawlowski (Nicki); his son Todd (Janelle); his grandchildren, Noah and Zoe; and his nieces and nephews, Stacie Hovitch, Dana Wickenheiser (Bryan) and Rick Hovitch (Lyndsay).
