He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Ryan Hoffman of Shepherd, Brandon Hoffman (Dawn) of Traverse City and Barbara Monahan (Michael) of Mt. Pleasant; his granddaughter Ella Hoffman; his children, Lily Beers (William), Abigail Monahan, Andrew Monahan, Patrick Monahan, Joseph Monahan and Bethany Monahan; his great grandchild Beckett Beers; his siblings, Duane Hoffman (Janet) of Gaylord, Mary Headlee (Douglas) of Draper, UT and Bernard Hoffman (Jan) of Lake Isabella; and his brother-in-law Donald Birkel (Diane) of Bellwood, NE..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's University Parish (1405 S Washington St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Reception Center (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions may be made to the FOCUS student activity fund at St. Mary's or the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal.
