He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Leo McGuire and Bonnie Jean McGuire (Strandburg); his wives, Sandra McGuire (O'Hare), Janice McGuire (Sower) and Denise Gross (Creech); and his siblings, Edmund McGuire and Kathleen Methner.
He is survived by: his children, Monica McGuire of Shepherd, Edmund McGuire (Danielle) of Cheboygan, Deborah Knopp of Florida, Robin Fournier of Sanford and Denise McGuire of Shepherd; his stepdaughter Kerri Bowen (Chris) of Gaylord; his siblings, Colleen Harnick (Ken) of Shepherd, Mark McGuire (Kathryn) of Shepherd, Daniel McGuire (Natalie) of Mt. Pleasant and Christopher McGuire (Renae Martin) of Shepherd; his siblings-in-law, Mark Methner of Coleman, Donnie Eckland of Mt. Pleasant, Bob Sower and Peggy Sponseller of Mt. Pleasant; his in-laws, Floyd O'Hare (Lorraine), Mike Bruce (Maryanne) and Hank O'Hare (Crystal); and his close friends, Roy Scarpato, Joe Gun, Don and Cody Machaffie. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.
