He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tohm and Alice Tohm (Pozehl); his wife Emma Mae Russell; and his brother Larry Tohm. He is survived by: his children, Daren Tohm (Stephanie), Denise Chaffee (Chuck) and Donald Tohm (Penelope); his grandchildren, Cody, Molly, Kassidy, Aaron (Justine), Adam, Eric and Gabrielle; his great grandchild Reagan; and his sister-in-law Carol Tohm.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (3401 E River Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Midland Memorial Gardens (565 N Meridian Rd, Midland, MI 48640).
