He is survived by: his children, Sue Canute and Jamie Hartupee (Rebecca) of Shepherd; and his grandchildren, Chad Canute (Tonya), Brad Canute (Stephanie), Tara Scully (Chad), Mandy Hartupee (Travis Schumacher), Paige Hartupee (Jay Norton), Trent Wheeler (Kim) and Mike Moss. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Berry Funeral Home (106 W Wright Ave, Shepherd, MI 48883).
