Gary Lee Coon Obituary

We bid farewell to Gary Lee Coon of Sheridan, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 11, 2025 at the age of 89. Gary Lee touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Coon and Shirley Coon (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Kurt Coon of Belding, Rick Coon (Deanna) of Quincy, Karen O'Neill (Tim) of Belding and Jeff Coon (Linda) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; his grandchildren, Heather Kramer (Mike), Ryan Coon (Julie), Kevin Coon (Sarah), Kristina Coon, Jami Norton (Tom), Philip Coon (Nikki), Eric Coon, Evan Coon, Amy Foster (Troy), Mitch O'Neill (Carly), Colin Coon, Brigid Coon and Gretchen Coon; his siblings, Patsy Laux of Belding, Sally Parker (Gordon) of Smyrna and David Coon of Belding; his siblings-in-law, George, Diane Demenov, James, Gwen Demenov, Terri, Rick Jensen, Lisa, Richard Gazella and Karen Keiffer (Greg Soulliere); his sons, Craig Coon and Patrick Coon; his brother-in-law Ralph Daller; his brother Michael; his sister-in-law Sharon Coon; his parents-in-law, George and Geraldine Demenov; and the mother of his children Joyce Wynne. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (404 N Division St, Carson City, MI 48811). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
