The family announces the passing of Shawn E. Rowland of Sheridan, Michigan on October 6, 2026. Shawn, born on December 2, 1974, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He is survived by: his children, Saydee James (Toad) and Mason Zimmerman; his grandchildren, Knox, Leni and Boone James; his siblings, Kathy Schmidt (Jason) of Trufant, Dawn Williams of Sand Lake, Sherri Rose (Rob) of Jackson, David Rowland (Brandi) of Washington and Bobby Rowland (Shannon) of Florida; his parents, Robin (Bob Williams) and Jake Rowland of Greenville; and his grandfather Dave Johnson of Croton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Simpson Family Funeral Home (246 S Main St, Sheridan, MI 48884).
