She was predeceased by: her mother Elma Whiteley (VanDyke); her husband Ivan Gharring; her son Ladd Gharring; her sister Floy Jensen; and her granddaughter Nicole Rene Piper.
She is survived by: her daughter DeeAnn Piper (Bill) of Sheridan; her grandsons, Chad Piper (Martha) of Lansing and Dr. Travis Piper (Michelle) of North Muskegon; her great grandchildren, Allie Fodrill (Nate), Tess Piper, Rem Piper, Lindsey Piper and Eliza Piper; and her sister Shirley Whartman of Kimball, Nebraska. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
