He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva John and Leeta Stanton (Ladyman). He is survived by: his sons, John Stanton (Anna), Jeff Stanton (Sara) and Jason Stanton (Taylor) of Sherwood; and his siblings, Ed Stanton (Cindy) and Ellen Hopkins (George). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren.
