She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Rohrer and Lillian Rohrer (Wittenburg); her husband Lynn "Topper" Melendy; her brothers, Harlan Rohrer and Melvin Rohrer; and her sister-in-law Rolene Rohrer.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Melendy of Bellingham, WA and Merle Melendy (Sue) of Sherwood. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty-one great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
