He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ruby and Donna Ruby (Tobias); his wife Barbara Billington; and his brother Johnny Ruby. He is survived by: his children, John Ruby (Jennifer) of Sherwood and Stacy Joseph (Dan) of Fredericksburg, Texas; his grandchildren, Joshua Ruby, Joseph Ruby, Jesse James Everett Ruby (Morgan) and John "Buba" Ruby, Jr. (Jazzy); his great grandchild Raelle Raine Ruby; and his sister Sue Preston of Hastings.
A reception will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation (1276 Tate Trl, Union City, MI 49094).
