He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Means and Dorothy White (Thomas); and his sisters, Barb Grim, Sue Mayo and Wendy Stebbins.

He is survived by: his children, Julie Martin, Michael White (Kathryn) and Charles White (Christie); his grandchildren, Adam Fields, Jeremy Fields (Angelica), Rachel Sokolowski, Thomas White (Taylor), Justin White, Erin White, Keegan White, Kameron White and Charlie White; and his great grandchildren, Pink, Nathan, Joey, Zane, Damon, Shalisa, Sebastian, Sawyer and Tess.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (723 US Hwy 27 N, Marshall, MI 49068). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (61 N 23rd St, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
