He is survived by: his children, Richard Johnston (Deanne) and Monica Johnston Ches (Mark); his grandchildren, William, Matthew, Dana (Connor) and Paul (Nicole); his siblings, Beth Piekutowski (late John) and Joel Johnston; and his nephews, Aaron and Andrew.
