He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his children, Lon Richardson of Traverse City and Margaret Sundstrum (Andrew) of Sparta; his stepson Timothy Russo (Pat) of Florida; his grandchildren, Tamara Retter (David) of Gaylord, Logan, Gabriella, Natalie, Ezra, Kaleb, Michael and Gabe; and his siblings, Lorraine Ziemba (Jim) of Dearborn, Janice Sutton (Jack) of Chesterfield, Dana Richardson of Oregon, Leigh Dimond (Bob) of Livonia and Marjorie Donnelly (Dave) of Manchester. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
