He is survived by : his wife Kathy (Kathy); his daughter Celest McGowan (James); his siblings, Alvin Coleman, Lutrell Coleman, Virginia McClency and Bessie James (Wiley); and his brother-in-law Robert Barksdale (Etta Christine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
