He is survived by: his children, Charles Barrix (Lisa), Carrie Counter-Staedt (Jeff) and Earl Counter (Kristen); and his grandchildren, Alexandra (Max), Christiansen, Candice Roth (Dan), Alan Staedt (Ella), Tori (Nicholas), Lehrer, Coco Counter and Frances Counter.
