We bid farewell to Anne Marie Hannick (Smiths Creek, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 23, 2025 at the age of 81. Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wessel and Marcella Wessel (Beauchamp); her spouse Emmet Hannick; and her nephew Jeremy Paul Russel. She is survived by: her sons, Dean Wessel of St. Clair and Robert Nichols of Grand Rapids; her stepdaughters, Elizabeth Bizzo (Luca) of Cape Coral, Jennifer Walsh (Edward) of Saline and Patricia Dinverno of Prosper, Texas; her grandchildren, Kyle Wessel, Morgan Shoup (Brad), Abigail, Andrew, Natalie Walsh, Nicolo Bizzo, Ava and Angelo Dinverno; her great grandchild Everly Mae; and her siblings, James Wessel (Jackie) of Loveland, Mary Russel (Richard) of Marysville and Paul Wessel (Lauri) of Marysville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center (4521 Ravenswood Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher Catholic Church (1000 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
