He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Smith and Martha H. Smith (Brennan). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his granddaughters, Elizabeth "Ellie" Jayne and Evelyn Lee; his brother David Smith (Denise) of Burtchville Township; and his sisters-in-law, Deborah Livingston of Port Huron, Karen Denton (Raymond) of Fort Gratiot and Cheryl Hamilton (Scott) of Jeddo.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center (4521 Ravenswood Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lindke Hall - Grace Memorial (4521 Ravenswood Rd, Smiths Creek, MI 48074). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3814 Keewahdin Rd, Fort Gratiot Twp, MI 48059).
