He is survived by: his son Ross Hicks (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Brittany Wiley (Paul), Julian Hicks and Skylar Pullins (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Nadia Chandler, Olivia Wiley and Adelyn Pullins; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Griffin and Payton Wiley; his siblings, Joseph Hicks (Paulette), Anita Hicks, Donna Donnellan (Dick), Nancy Lambrecht, Mary Anderson (Mike) and Cathy Rozema; and his sister-in-law Mary Spoonholtz.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (5508 S Pipestone Rd, Sodus, MI 49126).
