He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Rodriguez (Paula Yañes) and Michoacán. He is survived by: his wife Conception Cardozo; and his children, Nicacion Rodriguez (Cristira), Abel Rodriguez (Maria), Imelda Carranza (Javier), Leonel Rodriguez (Julia), Florentino Rodgriguez (Cinthia) and Jose Refugio (Galinda Rodriguez). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and nine siblings.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Filbrandt Chapel (1076 S Bailey Ave, South Haven, MI 49090). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St Basil Catholic Church (513 Monroe Blvd, South Haven, MI 49090).
