She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Bud" Otto and Frances Otto (Polansky); her husband Larry Allen Carlson; and her brothers, Donald and Richard "Dick" Otto.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Strebeck (Jennifer), Matthew "Bo" Strebeck (Carly Campbell) and Christyn Carlson; her grandchildren, Matthew, Grace, Brody, Memphis, Giana, Everly, Gavin, Wyatt and Piper; and her sister Charlan Otto.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jan's memory to Al-Van Humane Society as she was a perpetual rescuer of dogs and loved them very much.
