He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Earl Hadaway and Myrna "Kahne" Hadaway; his wife Dorothy Olson; his friends, Herb, Jerry and John; his children, Mark Hadaway (Sue) of South Haven, David Hadaway (Melody) of Plate Center, Tim Hadaway (Dawn) of Codi, Wyoming. and Debbie Cagle (Tim) of South Haven; and his siblings, Kenneth Hadaway of Grand Rapids and Sherrie Trap of Grand Rapids.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
