He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Katie Wilhelm (Andre Van Schalkwyk) and Nell Walker (Peter); his grandchildren, Lila Walker, Maggie Walker, Max Walker, Sam Wilhelm-Van Schalkwyk and Tillie Wilhelm-Van Schalkwyk; his sister Pamela Stewart; his niece Molly Murray (James); and his nephew Nick Stewart (Sarah).
