He was predeceased by: his parents, Aron Smith and Ruby Smith; his former wife Patricia; his brother Donald Smith; and his nephew Russell Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Smith (Kopinski); his stepson Reese Schoenwether (Angela); his granddaughter Taylor; his daughter Nina Davis (James); and his niece Vicki Smith (Russell). He is also survived by two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
