He is survived by: his children, Shelly Hartmann (Dennis) of South Haven, Max Poindexter II (Stacy Denton) of South Haven and Hillary Fisher (Matt) of South Haven; his grandchildren, Ashley Hartmann (Troy Kobrick), Angela Rouse, Alicia Russell (Paul), Kara Hartmann, Toni Blonde (Josh), Lindsay Homister (Dave), Courtney Neel (Wyatt), Max Poindexter III (Liza), Nick Fisher and Bridget Poindexter; and his siblings, Bill Poindexter, Janice Pratt and Nancy Knapp (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
