He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Shaffer (Curtis); his former wife Sandra Shaffer; his father Raymond C. Shaffer; and his brother James Shaffer. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Zink (Don Johnston) of Allegan, MI; his nieces and nephews, Wendy Bolling (Douglas) of Neligh, NE, Stacy Niles (Larry) of Lawrence, MI, William Shaffer (Jessie) of Portage, MI and Debra Wall (Ronald) of South Haven, MI.; and his wife Sandy Auensen. He is also survived by grandchildren and 14 loved great grandchildren.
