Ann Shimmin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Shimmin (South Lyon, Michigan), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bastas and Catherine Bastas (Sierant); her husband Wilfred Leslie Shimin; her siblings, Georgie, Bette, Michael, Marie (Ray), Sophie and Betsy; and her grandson Eric Shimmin.
She is survived by: her brother Jim; her sons, Stephen (Shelby), Jeffrey (Polliann), Douglas and Robert (Julie); and her grandchildren, Michael, Melanie, Aidan and Graham (Shimmin). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.
