He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Simmons and Freda Simmons; his daughter Amanda Burgess; and his sister Norine Simmons. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Simmons and Matthew Simmons; his grandchildren, Raylynn and Ava; and his siblings, Jackie Mosher, George Simmons, Mark Simmons, Theresa Simmons and Lisa Simmons-Veenstra. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
