It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick W. Simpson Sr. (South Lyon, Michigan), born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Selden Simpson and Nellie Mae Simpson; his daughter Karen Beard; and his stepbrother Jim Cox. He is survived by : his wife Judy; his children, Frederick Simpson (Patty) and Kelly Sitarek (Kurt); his grandchildren, Frederick Simpson (Sarah), Justin Beard, Christopher Simpson, Cody Beard, Nicole Engleman (Brandon), Kyle Sitarek and Jessica Beard; and his sister Barbara Compton (James). He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
